Tribus collaborates with Aeronautica Militare in Rome
Special foreign cooperation
Tribus has completed an important delivery to the Aeronautica Militare, the Italian Air Force. In a strategic collaboration with German partner MARINEX GmbH, four all-electric, wheelchair-accessible vehicles based on the Ford e-Transit were successfully transferred to a base in Rome.

Good local collaborations
The vehicles are equipped with the advanced TriflexAIR 2.0 floor and seating system. This innovative system offers a completely flat floor and maximum flexibility in the configuration of wheelchair spaces and regular seats. This allows the vehicles to meet the highest European safety standards, ensuring both the comfort and safety of all passengers, including wheelchair users.
The successful implementation of this project is the result of close international cooperation. For training and local support, the expertise of valued Italian partner Olmedo S.p.A., a specialist in the field of adapted vehicles, was called in. Norbert Storm, sales manager at Tribus, traveled to Rome to provide detailed user training with the Olmedo team. During this session, Aeronautica Militare personnel were instructed on the correct and safe use of the vehicle conversion and maintenance in order to maximize the operational deployability and service life of the fleet.
Proud of our contribution
Tribus is proud of this project, which fits perfectly with its mission to make mobility more sustainable and inclusive. The delivery to a prominent government agency like the Italian Air Force confirms the growing demand for emission-free and accessible transportation solutions.
We thank our partners MARINEX GmbH and Olmedo S.p.A. for the professional and pleasant cooperation and the Aeronautica Militare for the trust placed in them. We confidently look forward to the successful deployment of these advanced vehicles.
